Partition functors and universal exponential relations
David Mehrle, Millie Rose and Nathaniel Stapleton
We introduce partition functors: algebraic structures indexed by partitions of finite sets and equipped with restriction and transfer maps along refinements. We construct a monad PD on the category of partition functors and on several categories of partition functors with additional multiplicative structure. For a partition ring, exponential elements in its associated completed ring of symmetric functions acquire canonical logarithms after applying PD. This gives rise to a universal exponential relation between multiplicative and additive power operations. For representation rings this can be used to recover the classical relation between symmetric powers and Adams operations, while for Morava E-theory it can be used to recover Ganter's exponential relation between symmetric powers and Hecke operators. We show that the representation rings of products of symmetric groups form the initial partition ring and that, for symmetric monoidal partition functors, the monad PD is closely related to symmetric invariant tensors and the divided power envelope. We also construct a symmetric monoidal partition ring carrying the universal exponential element, so that its image under PD carries the universal exponential relation.

Braidings, duoidal categories and pre-Cartier structures for bi(co)modules
Andrea Sciandra and Lukas Simons
We study braidings and infinitesimal braidings on categories of bi(co)modules and tetramodules, and their compatibility with duoidal structures. For an arbitrary coalgebra, we classify braidings on its category of bicomodules with the cotensor product in terms of canonical $R$-forms, dualizing the classification for bimodules obtained by Agore, Caenepeel, and Militaru. Every such braiding is a
symmetry and admits only the zero infinitesimal braiding. We construct duoidal structures on categories of bi(co)modules and tetramodules over bimonoids in braided monoidal categories under suitable assumptions on equalizers and coequalizers. We then introduce pre-Cartier duoidal categories and their one-sided variants. We establish obstructions to compatible braidings for tetramodules, construct nonzero one-sided pre-Cartier structures on bi(co)modules, and give a pre-Cartier duoidal example with distinct monoidal products and a nonzero infinitesimal braiding.

Single-Orbit Recovery of Groups via an Optimization Principle
Bernhard G. Bodmann and Reshma Sabnam
The objective of this paper is to identify a finite group based on the orbit of a vector under its action. When a finite group acts unitarily on a
Hilbert space, the associated Gram
matrix lies in the group
algebra and satisfies identities that encode the algebraic group structure. We ask about the converse: Given a Gram
matrix obtained from the orbit of a vector under the group action, can one recover the underlying abstract group structure? Our main result identifies a short list of conditions on a family of orthogonal
matrices that force the family to be the right regular representation of a finite group. Building on this characterization, we develop a staged optimization framework that enforces these conditions progressively. Numerical experiments on the dihedral group $D_4$ and the tetrahedral rotation group $A_4$ recover $D_4$ exactly and all twelve $A_4$
matrices up to modest precision.

Endoscopic liftings and parameters of epipelagic representations for classical groups
Geo Kam-Fai Tam
Let $G$ be a $p$-adic classical group (orthogonal, symplectic, or
unitary) and $\pi$ be an epipelagic representation of $G$ in the sense of Reeder-Yu. Using Mœglin's theory of extended cuspidal supports and Bushnell-Kutzko's theory of covering types, we determine explicitly the endoscopic lift of $\pi$ to the general linear group, whose Langlands dual expresses the dual group of $G$ as a complex
matrix group, in terms of the inducing type of $\pi$ that extends the character of the first Moy-Prasad filtration subgroup defined by a stable functional. We interpret the inducing type of $\pi$ via Stevens' construction of supercuspidal representations by skew semisimple strata and introduce what we will call epipelagic strata, requiring only that the residual characteristic $p$ be odd. As an application, we reprove M. Oi's results on the endoscopic lifts of simple supercuspidal representations, in the sense of Gross-Reeder, of quasi-split classical groups. Finally, on the Galois side, we show that the epipelagic Langlands parameters of $G$ constructed by Reeder-Yu can be recovered via the self-duality of Bushnell-Henniart's admissible triples and endoscopic
embeddings of L-groups. We also establish some related results concerning epipelagic parameters that were previously proved under restrictions on $p$, including a parity result on rectifying characters and an adjoint Swan conductor result related to the Hiraga-Ichino-Ikeda
conjecture.

Counterexamples to the Reiner-Shimozono conjecture and the failure of Schubert filtrations
Reuven Hodges
We disprove the Reiner–Shimozono
conjecture that products of key
polynomials have nonnegative expansions in Demazure atoms. By relaxing the defining relations of Demazure modules, we obtain an exact coefficient-extraction formula that yields an explicit infinite family of counterexamples, including negative coefficients in twenty-eight variables. These examples answer van der Kallen's long-standing open question on relative Schubert filtrations negatively, already for tensor products of two dual Joseph modules. For individual atom coefficients, we give a sufficient criterion for positivity that is checkable in
polynomial time in the binary input length, uniformly in rank. For each fixed rank $n\ge4$, this criterion recognizes a nonvanishing proportion of the positive atom coefficients as the bound on the composition entries tends to infinity.

Locally analytic representations in mixed characteristic via stacks
Maximilian Hauck
For any $p$-adic Lie group $G$, we construct a group stack $G^\mathrm{la}$ over the $p$-adic branch of Clausen–Scholze's stack of norms such that quasicoherent sheaves on its classifying stack $*/G^\mathrm{la}$ recover locally analytic representations of $G$ after base change to any suitable Tate Huber pair, even in positive or mixed characteristic. We also show that smooth $\mathbb{F}_p$-representations of $G$ embed fully faithfully into sheaves on the mod $p$ fibre of $*/G^\mathrm{la}$ and establish Poincaré duality for cohomology of locally analytic representations in mixed characteristic.

The Kazhdan-Lusztig category of $\mathfrak{osp}_{1|2n}$ at irrational levels
Thomas Creutzig, Robert McRae and Jinwei Yang
We prove the Kazhdan-Lusztig correspondence for the Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{osp}_{1|2n}$ at irrational levels, that is, we show the category $\mathrm{KL}_k^{\rm ev}(\mathfrak{osp}_{1|2n})$ of finite-length even ordinary modules for the affine vertex operator superalgebra of $\mathfrak{osp}_{1|2n}$ at level $k \in \mathbb{C} \setminus \mathbb{Q}$ is braided tensor equivalent to the category of finite-dimensional even weight modules for the
quantum group of $\mathfrak{osp}_{1|2n}$ at parameter $q = e^{\pi i/(2k+2n+1)}$. We also prove that ${\rm KL}_k^{\rm ev}(\mathfrak{osp}_{1|2n})$ is braided tensor equivalent to the category ${\rm KL}_\ell^{\rm ns}(\mathfrak{so}_{2n+1})$ of finite-length ordinary modules with non-spinorial top level for the affine vertex operator
algebra of $\mathfrak{so}_{2n+1}$ at level $\ell$ such that $ \frac{1}{\ell+ 2n-1} = \frac{1}{2k+2n+1} + 1 \ \ ({\rm mod}\ 2\mathbb Z).$ Consequently, by gluing vertex operator (super)
algebras via tensor categories, we construct a few new families of simple conformal vertex (super)
algebras, including the mixed kernel VOAs that were the missing ingredient for proving certain Feigin-Frenkel type dualities in previous work of the first-named author with Linshaw, Nakatsuka, and Sato.

Degenerations of chain complexes
Judith Marquardt
We study degenerations of orbits in varieties of chain complexes of projective modules. We show that degenerations are characterized in terms of certain admissible short exact sequences in the exact category of complexes of projectives, analogously to work from Riedtmann and Zwara. We then extend our study to the homotopy category. In this context, complexes of projectives with a given $g$-vector form an ind-variety, and we prove that degenerations of orbits are characterized by the existence of certain distinguished triangles in the category. This links to the algebraic definition of degeneration for triangulated categories introduced by Jensen, Su and Zimmermann.

Symmetric group actions on the coordinate ring of the lower unipotent group and the polynomial ring with quantum parameters
Tatsuya Horiguchi
Givental-Kim and Ciocan-Fontanine gave an explicit presentation of the
quantum cohomology ring of the flag variety. The author and Shirato introduced an algebraic generalization of their presentation in the context of the coordinate rings of regular nilpotent Hessenberg varieties. In particular, they connect the coordinate ring of the lower unipotent group in a general linear group and the
polynomial ring with
quantum parameters. In this paper we consider the dual of the connection and we see that the Plücker coordinates correspond to the quantizations of Schur
polynomials. As an application of the connection, we construct an action of the symmetric group on the
polynomial ring with
quantum parameters. Using the symmetric group action, one can define the divided difference operators on the
polynomial ring with
quantum parameters. We study the quantizations of Schubert
polynomials in relation to the divided difference operators.

Lifting $A_\infty$-structures through coverings with applications to fractional Brauer graph algebras
Bohan Xing
Under suitable group actions, it is known that $A_\infty$-structures descend to orbit categories. We study the converse problem of lifting an $A_\infty$-structure to a prescribed covering. We show that a compatible group grading determines a canonical lift, uniquely characterized by the strictness of the covering projection. As an application, we construct $A_\infty$-categories associated with admissible fractional Brauer graph
algebras by lifting Brauer graph $A_\infty$-categories. Their
geometric data augment the surface models of Brauer graph
algebras with a Nakayama character encoding the covering. We prove that admissible fractional Brauer graph
algebras with equivalent
geometric data are derived equivalent. Furthermore, we establish a set of combinatorial derived invariants and prove their completeness in reduced genus zero and in reduced genus at least two when the defining ribbon graph is non-bipartite.

Spherical harmonics, operators of multiplication by coordinates, and infinitesimal conformal transformations
Yury A. Neretin
Consider the space of $C^\infty$-functions on the two-dimensional sphere $S^2$ and its decomposition $\oplus\mathcal H_n$ into a direct sum of minimal rotation-invariant spaces. We consider elements of $\oplus\mathcal H_n$ as functions of two variables, a nonnegative integer variable $n$ and a complex variable $u$ (a restriction of such function to the set $n=k$ is a
polynomial in $u$ of degree $\le 2k$). For operators of multiplication by $x_1$, $x_2$, $x_3$ in $C^\infty(S^2)$ we obtain the corresponding operators in $\oplus\mathcal H_n$, they are differential-difference operators in the variables $u$, $n$ (including second derivatives in $u$ and shifts $n\mapsto n\pm1$). We obtain the similar correspondence for operators of differentiation along conformal vector fields on $S^2$.

On the normality of the commuting scheme
Jack Sempliner and Xiangqian Yang
If $G$ is a connected reductive algebraic group over a field $k$ of characteristic $\ell$, we show that both the Lie-theoretic and group-theoretic commuting schemes associated to $G$ are normal and Cohen–Macaulay when $\ell = 0$, or $\ell$ is larger than the Coxeter numbers of all simple factors of $G$, and that $\ell \neq 19$ (resp. $\ell \neq 31$) when $G$ has a simple factor of type $E_7$ (resp. $E_8$). The main new ingredients are provided by studying the unipotent categorical Langlands functor of Zhu. Along the way we prove a $t$-exactness result for a finite unipotent categorical Langlands functor which may be of independent interest.

The intersection of local Arthur packets for even orthogonal groups and applications
Alexander Hazeltine, Baiying Liu and Chi-Heng Lo
We give
algorithms to explicitly compute local Arthur packets and their intersections for even orthogonal groups $G_n$ over $p$-adic fields using extended multi-segments. In addition, we provide an
algorithm which determines whether a representation of $G_n$ lies in a local Arthur packet. As applications, these results are used to identify distinguished parameters, prove the closure ordering
conjecture, the enhanced Shahidi

conjecture, and the good parity

Cosets with constant characteristic polynomial
Nir Avni and Tsachik Gelander
Let H be a linear group. We show that if there is an invertible
matrix x such that all the elements of xH share the same characteristic
polynomial then H is virtually solvable. There are plenty of applications that will be presented in future paper. Here, we discuss some applications to the generalized Weigold
conjecture and present an alternative straightforward proof of the Formanek–Procesi nonlinearity
theorem for Aut(F_n), n>2, over every field. When n>4 our non-linearity proof gives a stronger result than the original Formanek–Procesi
theorem.

On convex bodies with rotationally symmetric planar projections
Sergii Myroshnychenko, Dmitry Ryabogin and Christos Saroglou
Let $n\ge 3$ and let $K\subset\mathbb R^n$ be a convex body. For a two-dimensional linear subspace $P\subset\mathbb R^n$, let $K|P$ be the orthogonal projection of $K$ onto $P$. We prove that if for every two-dimensional subspace $P$, the planar convex body $K|P$ has $q$-fold rotational
symmetry up to translation, then for $q\ge4$, this forces $K$ to be an Euclidean ball. The case $q=3$ is exceptional: non-spherical examples exist.
