Privacy
Peer Revenue is a game, kept separate from your professional identity. We collect as little as it needs.
What we store
- Your email address, only to send sign-in links. It's never shown to anyone, never used for anything else, and never shared.
- The name you choose. It doesn't have to be your real name, and it's never made from your email.
- Your game activity: trades, holdings, dividends and in-app notifications.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in. It's the only cookie, and there are no trackers, ads or analytics.
- A scrambled (salted, hashed) copy of your IP address when you ask for a sign-in link, so we can stop floods of requests. It can't be turned back into your address and is deleted after a day, with the link.
What other players see
- Your name, leaderboard rank and portfolio value.
- Your holdings on your profile, unless you hide them in Account.
- Trades appear on word pages without names.
The only email we send is the sign-in link you ask for. No newsletters, no digests; everything else happens in the game's own notifications.
Deleting your account
From Account, at any time. Your email and name are removed straight away. Your past trades and holdings stay in the game's books without any link to you (they're needed for the ledger to add up), frozen: they earn nothing and aren't ranked.
