Protected Logical Qudits in Kitaev Quantum Double Models via Stable Representations

Fault-tolerant quantum computation requires robust protection of encoded quantum information. In this work, we develop a representation-theoretic framework for constructing protected logical qudits in finite-group Kitaev quantum double models. By introducing $\varepsilon$-stable irreducible representations, we establish a necessary and sufficient existence criterion and derive ribbon–projector commutation relations that yield a $d$-dimensional protected logical subspace. We apply this construction to symmetric and alternating groups, obtaining logical qubits for $S_n$ ($n\ge 3$) and a logical qutrit for $A_4$. Moreover, the family $(\mathbb Z_2)^d\rtimes\mathbb Z_d$ realizes protected logical qudits of arbitrary dimension $d\ge 2$. Finally, for $D(A_4)$, we describe a scheme for universal logical qutrit computation using ribbon-based logical operations.

Linear independence of global monomials on positive spaces

In this paper, we prove that global monomials on positive spaces are linearly independent, extending the basic fact that Laurent monomials in a Laurent polynomial algebra are linearly independent to a much more general setting. We also establish a global monomial avoidance phenomenon for positive spaces. Our approach is based on the study of Newton polytopes of Laurent expansions. These general results apply to positive spaces arising from cluster algebras (including the totally sign-skew-symmetric case), $Y$-patterns, and Laurent phenomenon algebras whose clusters are related by subtraction-free birational transformations. In particular, we obtain the proper Laurent monomial property and the linear independence of cluster monomials for all cluster algebras and Laurent phenomenon algebras under consideration. Notably, the proper Laurent monomial property follows from the global monomial avoidance phenomenon for positive spaces.

Kashiwara–Nakashima tableaux, Gelfand–Tsetlin patterns, and quantum symmetric pairs

Kashiwara–Nakashima tableaux and Gelfand–Tsetlin patterns of orthogonal type are famous as combinatorial models of the finite-dimensional irreducible representations of the special orthogonal Lie algebras $\mathfrak{so}_N$. The former is constructed based on the representation theory of quantum groups, especially the theory of crystals, while the latter based on the branching rule for $(\mathfrak{so}_N,\mathfrak{so}_{N-1})$. In the present paper, we construct a natural bijection between them by means of the representation theory of quantum symmetric pairs corresponding to $(\mathfrak{so}_N,\mathfrak{so}_{N-1})$.

Auslander correspondence for higher stable dg categories and cluster Morita theory

The notion of $d$-stable dg categories axiomatizes $d$-cluster tilting subcategories of stable dg categories. We establish an Auslander correspondence for $d$-stable dg categories: we characterize the $d$-stability of an additive connective dg category in terms of coherence, weak global dimension, and a duality on finitely presented modules. This gives a homological characterization of $d$-stability and reveals it as a twisted form of $(d+1)$-Calabi–Yau duality. For locally finite connective dg algebras, this interpretation becomes particularly transparent under Koszul duality, where $d$-stability corresponds to a shifted self-injectivity condition on the Koszul dual. Following the constructions of Amiot, Guo and Keller, for a $d$-stable dg category $M$, we introduce its $d$-cluster dg category $\mathcal C_{d,{\rm dg}}(M):=\operatorname{per}_{\rm dg}M/^\mathbb{L}\mathcal D^b_{\rm fp, dg}(M)$. Using our Auslander correspondence, we show that $\mathcal C_{d,{\rm dg}}(M)$ contains $M$ as a $d$-cluster tilting subcategory. In particular, every $d$-stable dg category can be realized as a $d$-cluster tilting subcategory of a stable dg category. We then develop cluster Morita theory: a pretriangulated dg category equipped with a $d$-cluster tilting subcategory $M$ is quasi-equivalent to $\mathcal C_{d,{\rm dg}}(M)$. Thus the connective dg structure of a cluster tilting subcategory determines its ambient dg category up to quasi-equivalence. As an application of cluster Morita theory, we prove a Morita-theoretic variant of Amiot's conjecture. More precisely, we establish a Calabi–Yau correspondence: for a locally finite $d$-stable dg category $M$ over a field, right $(d+1)$-Calabi–Yau structures on $\mathcal D^b_{\rm fp, dg}(M)$ are in bijection with right $d$-Calabi–Yau structures on $\mathcal C_{d,{\rm dg}}(M)$.

$\sqrt{\Delta}$-Fine Rings

We introduce and study the so-termed {\it $\sqrt{\Delta}$-fine rings}, a new class of rings that generalizes the classical fine rings introduced by Călugăreanu-Lam in J. Algebra & Appl. (2016) by requiring that every nonzero element $r \in R$ can be written as $r = u + a$, where $u$ is a unit and $a \in \sqrt{\Delta(R)}$. We establish that every such ring is simple, every abelian $\sqrt{\Delta}$-fine ring is indecomposable, and most notably, the matrix ring $M_n(R)$ over a $\sqrt{\Delta}$-fine ring $R$ is again $\sqrt{\Delta}$-fine for every $n \ge 1$. As a consequence, we characterize all semi-local $\sqrt{\Delta}$-fine rings as those rings which are precisely the simple Artinian rings. We also examine group rings, providing conditions under which they are either $\sqrt{\Delta}$-fine or generalized fine, where the latter class was introduced by Zhou in J. Algebra & Appl. (2022), and conclude our work with the difficult open question asking of whether each $\sqrt{\Delta}$-fine ring is necessarily fine.

Relative Langlands duality of the Bump-Friedberg-Ginzburg $\mathrm{GSO}_6$-integral

We provide a new instance of singular relative Langlands duality, underlying a Rankin-Selberg integral on $\mathrm{GSO}_6$ due to Bump-Friedberg-Ginzburg. We conclude that this integral represents an essentially self-dual object in the relative Langlands program, and we demonstrate that the Langlands dual automorphic integral computes a finite sum of $L$-functions, reflecting stacky structure on the spectral side.

Inherent Trade-offs when Enforcing Correct Data Symmetries in Multi-head Self-attention

We give a complete characterization of equivariant multi-head self-attention (MHSA): if an MHSA layer is equivariant to a symmetry group $G$, then $G$ can only act by permuting head-clusters, with QK and OV matrices satisfying an equivariance constraint tied to the group action. As a consequence, we prove that any fixed MHSA architecture that achieves exact equivariance by polynomially parameterizing unconstrained MHSA parameters inevitably leads to expressivity loss within the class of equivariant maps: the equivariance locus of unconstrained MHSA forms a union of extremely many Zariski-irreducible components in a reduced parameter space, and any single architecture covers at most one. For $G=D_4$ acting on $C$ copies of the regular representation as the token feature space, we show that there are $\Omega(C^{64})$ components for eight attention heads. We illustrate this with experiments on artificial tasks and show that the predicted head-cluster structures can arise naturally when the attention layer is pressured to become equivariant.

Lie nilpotency index of skew symmetric elements in group algebras

Let $FG$ be the group algebra of a finite $p$-group $G$ over a finite field $F$ of characteristic $p$, where $p$ is an odd prime. Let $*$ be the classical involution of $FG$ and let $FG^-$ be the Lie subalgebra of the skew symmetric elements with respect to $*$. In this paper, we prove that the Lie nilpotency index of $FG$ is determined by its Lie subalgebra $FG^-$, in the case when $G$ is a $p$-group with a commutator subgroup of order $p$. The structure of the terms of the lower Lie central series of $FG^-$ has also been described.

GIT for root stacks and 3d mirror symmetry

Using window theory, Bodzenta–Donovan showed that the derived category of a root stack $\sqrt[n]{X/D}$ has a $2n$-periodic $2$-term semiorthogonal decomposition. We define a categorical generalization of the root stack construction and interpret this as a pullback on the B-side of the 3d mirror symmetry equivalence of Gammage–Hilburn–Mazel-Gee. We analyze this pullback using categorical representation theoretic results of Ben-Zvi–Francis–Nadler and Ben-Zvi–Nadler–Preygel applied to SODs. We also show that the pullback is equivalent to a pushforward of perverse schobers on the A-side, allowing us to deduce periodicity from a simple decomposition of an A-side Lagrangian skeleton. Additionally, we adapt the construction of Bodzenta–Donovan to a new GIT problem, which yields an embedding of Coh($\sqrt[m]{X/D}$) into Coh($\sqrt[n]{X/D}$) for $m<n$ coprime, and prove $2n$-periodicity of the resulting $2$-term SOD.

ABRR Summation Formulas for Relative Extremal Projectors

In 2004, Khoroshkin proved that the extremal projector is equivalent to the dynamical twist. The Arnaudon-Buffenoir-Ragoucy-Roche (ABRR) equation, satisfied by the dynamical twist, yields a recursive formula for the coefficients in the extremal projector. The resulting summation formula is uniform and powerful in its applications to representation theory and Mickelsson-Zhelobenko reduction algebras. In this paper we generalize this recursive formula to the relative extremal projector, introduced by Conley and Sepanski in 2003. When the Levi subalgebra is the Cartan subalgebra, we recover the usual ABRR recursion. We also find a compact and explicit expression for the solution to the recursion. Our setting includes infinite-dimensional contragredient Lie superalgebras, Kac-Moody algebras, basic classical Lie superalgebras, and finite-dimensional reductive Lie algebras.

Classification of Simple Harish-Chandra Modules over the Loop Mirror HeisenbergVirasoro Algebra

The loop mirror Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra, an embedded subalgebra of the loop Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra, admits a family of interesting truncated subalgebras including those of Takiff type and \(\mathfrak{bms}_3\) type. We give a complete classification of simple Harish-Chandra modules over the loop mirror Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra, whose simple modules fall into three categories, highest weight modules, lowest weight modules, and evaluation modules of the intermediate series. As a by-product, we classify all simple Harish-Chandra modules over the truncated mirror Heisenberg-Virasoro algebras \(\mathcal{L}(n)\) for \(n\geq2\). By virtue of shift operators in the \(d\)-parameter family, we give a more streamlined proof of Theorem 3.3 from the work [Classification of simple $W_n$-modules with finite-dimensional weight spaces, J. Reine Angew. Math., 720 (2016), 199-216] by Y. Billig and V. Futorny, which states the key Billig-Futorny identity. Furthermore, our approach can be extended to the computation of annihilators for uniformly bounded modules over some other Lie (super)algebras.

Poisson blow-ups and the adjoint quotient

We leverage Polishchuk's Poisson blow-up criterion in the context of algebro-geometric integrable systems. In more detail, one may associate an integrable system $\tau:\mathfrak{X}\longrightarrow\mathfrak{B}$ to each affine Poisson scheme $\mathfrak{X}$ over $\mathbb{C}$. We prove that the blow-ups of $\mathfrak{X}$ along fibers of $\tau$ are Poisson schemes occurring in a family $\widetilde{\mathfrak{X}\times\mathfrak{B}}\longrightarrow\mathfrak{B}$, where $\widetilde{\mathfrak{X}\times\mathfrak{B}}$ is itself a Poisson scheme. This result is subsequently specialized to the adjoint quotient $\tau:\mathfrak{g}\longrightarrow\mathfrak{g}/\!/G=:\mathfrak{c}$ of a finite-dimensional complex semisimple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ with integrating algebraic group $G$. We show that the family $\widetilde{\mathfrak{g}\times\mathfrak{c}}\longrightarrow\mathfrak{c}$ is flat, conical, and equipped with a canonical Poisson Hamiltonian $G$-variety structure. We also obtain Poisson-geometric results on the fibers of this family, which are blow-ups of $\mathfrak{g}$ along regular adjoint orbit closures.

Specht ideals for the imprimitive complex reflection group $G(r,1,n)$: geometric orbit types and a dominance theorem

Moustrou, Riener, and Verdure related the dominance order on partitions to Specht ideal and variety inclusion for $S_n$; we previously extended this to direct products of symmetric groups. Here we take a first step toward the imprimitive complex reflection group $G(r,1,n)=(\mathbb{Z}/r\mathbb{Z})\wr S_n$. The correct geometric invariant of a point $x\in K^n$ is a pair $(\mu,z)$: a classical partition $\mu$ on the $r$-th powers of the nonzero coordinates, together with the number $z$ of zero coordinates. We construct a $G(r,1,n)$-invariant ideal $I_{(\mu,z)}$ for each such pair, and show that a dominance order on $(\mu,z)$, with $z$ taking strict priority over $\mu$, exactly characterizes both ideal inclusion and reverse variety inclusion. We settle a monomial criterion in three regimes, recover the classical $B_n$-Specht ideal theory at $r=2$ when $z=0$, and establish radicality of $I_{(\mu,z)}$ at the two extremes of the $z=0$ level. Four computational examples, checked exhaustively for group invariance, illustrate the construction throughout.

Transfer of Wakamatsu tilting modules along Frobenius extensions

Let $\iota: R\to A$ be a Frobenius extension and let $T$ be a Wakamatsu tilting left $R$-module. We give sufficient conditions for the induced module $A\otimes_R T$ to remain Wakamatsu tilting and establish an ascent–descent result for split centrally projective Frobenius extensions. We also characterize the tilting case by the vanishing of $\mathrm{Ext}_R^i(T,A\otimes_R T)$ for all $i>0$. Moreover, if $A\otimes_R T\in\mathrm{add}_R(T)$, then the natural map $S=\mathrm{End}_R(T)\to B=\mathrm{End}_A(A\otimes_R T)$ of endomorphism rings is a Frobenius extension and $T\otimes_S B\cong A\otimes_R T$ as $R$-$B$-bimodules. Applications to Brenner–Butler–Miyashita equivalences and some specific classes of Frobenius extensions are also discussed.

Picture groups and green sequences from the perspective of Ringel–Hall algebras

Let $k$ be an algebraically closed field and let $\Lambda$ be a finite-dimensional associative $k$-algebra. We apply Joyce and Brideland's notion of Ringel–Hall algebra to prove results about picture spaces and picture groups. For instance, we construct a faithful group functor for $\Lambda$, i.e. a faithful functor from the $\tau$-cluster morphism category of $\Lambda$ into a groupoid. Consequently, by results of Hanson–Igusa, the picture space of $\Lambda$ is locally CAT(0) provided that the $\tau$-cluster morphism category of $\Lambda$ admits compatibility of last factors. We also show that green sequences are in bijection with certain positive expressions in the picture group, which generalizes a result of Igusa–Todorov beyond hereditary $k$-algebras.

Quiver Semistability and Structured Kalman Decompositions for Networked Linear Dynamical Systems

We introduce new notions of controllability and observability for networked linear time-invariant (LTI) systems based on $\sigma$-semistability of quiver representations. Utilizing King's criterion for $\sigma$-semistability, we define a network generalization of the Kalman decomposition for networked LTI systems, which systematically decomposes the local and interconnection dynamics while respecting the underlying network structure. Furthermore, we present efficient algorithms for deciding the proposed controllability and observability of a given networked LTI system and for finding the Kalman-type decomposition. We also show efficient algorithms for deciding the $\sigma$-semistability of representations of acyclic quivers with self-loops if the weight $\sigma$ has the same sign for all vertices with self-loops. Such quiver representations and weights arise from networked LTI systems.

Euler Characteristics of $\mathrm{SL}_4(\mathbb{Z})$ and $\mathrm{GL}_4(\mathbb{Z})$, and their cohomological consequences

We compute the homological Euler characteristics of $\mathrm{SL}_4(\mathbb{Z})$ and $\mathrm{GL}_4(\mathbb{Z})$ with coefficients in arbitrary irreducible rational highest-weight representations. Applying Wall's formula, we combine the orbifold Euler characteristics of centralizers of torsion elements with traces computed using the Jacobi-Trudi identity to derive explicit formulas and rational generating functions. Consequently, these Euler characteristics are quasi-polynomial functions of the highest-weight parameters, of total degree at most two. We further derive degreewise vanishing results and parity-sensitive lower bounds for the dimensions of cohomology groups. The two extensions of an $\mathrm{SL}_4(\mathbb{Z})$-coefficient system to $\mathrm{GL}_4(\mathbb{Z})$ yield sharper bounds, which grow linearly or quadratically in explicit infinite families. For symmetric powers, combining our formulas with Horozov's calculation of the determinant-twisted summand yields exact identities and lower bounds for the untwisted summand, together with a conjectural degreewise description of its cohomology.

Poisson bialgebras by deformations-to-quasiclassical limits

Poisson algebras are the quasiclassical limits of associative algebra deformations of commutative associative algebras. This paper extends this process to the level of bialgebras. We derive Poisson bialgebras as the quasiclassical limits of antisymmetric infinitesimal bialgebra deformations of commutative and cocommutative antisymmetric infinitesimal bialgebras. It might be regarded as the “infinitesimal" version of the quantization process of Lie bialgebras in terms of Hopf algebras. Such deformations-quasiclassical limits process for a Poisson bialgebra is equivalently characterized in terms of the introduced notions of deformations of a matched pair of associative algebras as well as a standard Manin triple of associative algebras, whose corresponding quasiclassical limits are a matched pair of Poisson algebras and a standard Manin triple of Poisson algebras, respectively. We illustrate these equivalent deformations-quasiclassical limits processes via coherent derivations.

The cyclic-induction Schur cone: Boolean sums, Ramanujan-square positivity, and integral structure

We study the Schur-positive cone in $\Rspace_{n,\mathbb R}\coloneqq \operatorname{span}_{\mathbb R}\{p_d^{n/d}:d\mid n\}$ through its basis $Q_{n,d}\coloneqq\ell_{n/d}^{(1)}[p_d]$, where $\ell_m^{(1)}$ is the Frobenius characteristic of the representation induced to $S_m$ from a faithful linear character of the subgroup generated by an $m$-cycle; brackets denote plethysm. A Boolean $Q$-sum is a sum of distinct elements of this basis. We give a unified proof of four conjectures of Sundaram on Schur positivity by classifying all Schur-positive Boolean $Q$-sums; the case of sums over divisors up to a prescribed bound recovers Hou's theorem. Specifically, for a nonempty set $J$ of divisors of $n$, the sum $\sum_{d\in J}Q_{n,d}$ is Schur-positive exactly when $1\in J$ and, for even $n$, $n\in J$ implies $n/2\in J$. The same character estimates prove the Ramanujan-square conjecture of Shareshian and Sundaram: the function $\sum_{d\mid n}c_d(n/d)^2p_d^{n/d}$, where $c_d(r)$ is the Ramanujan sum, has a positive coefficient of $s_\lambda$ for every $n\ge1$ and $\lambda\vdash n$, except when $n\equiv2\pmod4$ and $\lambda=(1^n)$, in which case the coefficient is zero. We prove that an element of this space has integral Schur coefficients if and only if its $Q$-coordinates are integral. The Boolean classification also determines the convex hull of the Schur-positive Boolean points with $Q_{n,1}$-coordinate $1$. We compute its Ehrhart polynomial and volume, prove its integer decomposition property, and determine the Hilbert basis of its cone. For $n\ge18$, we prove that setting the coefficient of $s_{(n)}$ or $s_{(1^n)}$ equal to $0$ or $1$ defines a facet of the section of the Schur-positive cone with $Q_{n,1}$-coordinate $1$. The positivity results and coordinate formulas also yield inequalities for major-index residue multiplicities.

Degree-shifted derived invariance of derived delooping levels

Gélinas introduced the delooping level of an Artin algebra as a homological invariant that bounds the big finitistic dimension of the opposite algebra. A natural question is whether such invariants are preserved under derived equivalences. Chen recently showed that the finiteness of the classical delooping level and its sub-derived variant is not derived-invariant, but the case of the finer derived delooping level of Guo and Igusa remained open. In this paper, we prove that the finiteness of the derived delooping level is degree-shift invariant under derived equivalences: if two algebras are derived equivalent via a tilting complex of width $k_T$, then finiteness of the $(k+k_T)$-derived delooping level on one side implies finiteness of the $k$-derived delooping level on the other. Consequently, the finiteness of the derived $\infty$-delooping level is invariant under derived equivalences. Furthermore, we introduce the global derived delooping level and prove that, under a derived equivalence, its $\infty$-version changes by at most $k_T$. In particular, its finiteness is a derived invariant.

Cyclotomic Newton Expansions and a Rank-Uniform Integer-Valued Newton Completion

Let $J_r^{SU(n)}(K;q)$ denote the reduced $SU(n)$ quantum invariant of a zero-framed knot $K$, colored by the $r$th symmetric power of the defining representation and normalized to be $1$ for the unknot. For every fixed $n\ge2$ we prove the Chen–Liu–Zhu cyclotomic expansion conjecture: there are unique coefficients $H_k^{(n)}(K;q)\in\mathbb{Z}[q^{\pm1}]$ such that \[ J_r^{SU(n)}(K;q)=\sum_{k=0}^{r} \left(\prod_{i=0}^{k-1}\{r-i\}\{r+n+i\}\right) H_k^{(n)}(K;q), \] where $\{m\}=q^m-q^{-m}$. The finite dual interpolation formula of Beliakova–Gorsky gives an integral one-sided factorial expansion. After identifying their reduced scalar with the Habiro–Lê convention, we restrict the completed center to one-row colors. Completed Harish–Chandra reflection then yields inversion symmetry in the variable $z$, and integral descent through $X=z+z^{-1}$ converts the one-sided expansion into the two-sided Newton basis. Cyclotomic-local interpolation and a UFD denominator-removal argument prove Laurent integrality of the Newton coefficients. We also determine a natural coefficient ring for a rank-uniform expansion. For every zero-framed knot there are unique Laurent differential coefficients $G_k(K;A,q)\in\mathbb{Z}[A^{\pm1},q^{\pm1}]$. The associated Newton coefficients are Laurent polynomials in $A$ over $\mathbb{Q}(q)$ whose values at every geometric node $A=q^n$, $n\ge2$, lie in $\mathbb{Z}[q^{\pm1}]$. They define a two-variable Newton inverse-limit element whose positive-rank specializations recover all symmetric-color HOMFLY–PT polynomials. The completion is taken in the Newton kernels rather than coefficientwise at roots of unity. After a positive rank and a color have been fixed, the series is finite and may be evaluated at a root of unity.

Finally, we give some applications and examples on these results. For instance, we generalize a recent result by A. Hubery to a categorical framework.

Pseudo-spherical representations and types for covers of split tori

We introduce a notion of pseudo-spherical representations for any Brylinski-Deligne (BD) cover of a split torus over a $p$-adic field. In particular, we do not assume that the cover is tame. We enumerate the pseudo-spherical representations and compute their dimension. When the torus is the maximal split torus of a connected split reductive group $G$, we enumerate a subset of distinguished pseudo-spherical representations, under mild assumptions on the BD datum. We expect these distinguished representations to provide the torus input for a Borel-Casselman Theorem for BD covers of $G$. We have verified this expectation for certain non-tame double covers in a separate work. While investigating the pseudo-spherical representations, we also prove that the restriction of irreducible genuine representations of covering tori to their maximal compact subgroup is multiplicity-free. From this we see that the irreducible genuine representations of this maximal compact subgroup are types in the sense of Bushnell-Kutzko. We conclude by describing the Hecke algebras attached to these types.

Quasimap critical cohomology, Coulomb branches, and quantum groups

This article presents a systematic study of the critical cohomology of $\QM^{\xi}(\bbP^1, X)$, the moduli space of based quasimaps from $\bbP^1$ to a Nakajima quiver variety $X$. We develop two derived equivalent presentations of this moduli space as a global critical locus. Accordingly, we obtain two equivalent explicit realizations of the canonical DT sheaf of the moduli space. Using each critical presentation, we describe canonical actions of shifted Yangians and quantized Coulomb branches on the quasimap critical cohomologies. We produce, by geometric means, a canonical morphism from an appropriate Hall algebra to the Coulomb branch, and show that the two actions we describe are compatible via this morphism under an additional hypothesis. We conjecture the compatibility holds generally, and reduce the claim to a sheaf-theoretic statement that may be approached via Joyce conjecture.

Generalized Jantzen filtration, hyperbolic restriction, and characteristic cycles

In this paper we give a geometric description of the behavior of analytic intertwining operators between parabolically induced representations of $\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathrm{F})$, where $\mathrm{F}$ is a local non-archimedean field, in terms of hyperbolic localization functors of Braden. As a consequence, we can show that the image of an intertwining operator is always semi-simple and give a lower bound on the order of its pole, which is conjectured to be an equality as well as an upper bound in terms of the singular support of certain perverse sheaves. Moreover, we are able to reduce the conjecture of Lapid and Mínguez on the shape of irreducible subrepresentations of induced representations to a computation of characteristic cycles. The theory of mixed Hodge modules plays a crucial role in the proofs.

Model structures on the category of Q-shaped modules

We develop a method for constructing abelian model structures on the category Q,AMod of Q-shaped modules from cotorsion pairs in AMod, where Q is a small preadditive category satisfying certain conditions and AMod denotes the category of left A-modules for any ring A. More precisely, we construct two cotorsion pairs in Q,AMod from a given cotorsion pair in AMod. This leads to a construction of projective model structures on Q,AMod under the condition that Q has no cycles. We further apply this method to the category Dif(A) of differential left A-modules, viewed as a category of Q-shaped modules for a suitable choice of Q. In this case, the induced cotorsion pairs are shown to be compatible, thereby giving rise to abelian model structures on Dif(A).

Cluster Geometry of Universal Schubert Polynomials I: Geometric Bases and Schubert Transitions

We study Fulton's universal Schubert polynomials $\mathfrak S_w(c)$ as regular functions on the upper unitriangular group $U_N$. The standard triangular cluster structure associates a Schubert $\sf g$-vector to every permutation. Their convex hull is unimodularly equivalent to $\Delta_1\times\cdots\times\Delta_{N-1}$, and their root-degree fibers are parabolic Bruhat intervals realized by the strata of staircase quiver Grassmannians. The geometric (i.e., generic, canonical, and Mirković–Vilonen) elements indexed by these vectors form integral bases of Fulton's standard-elementary module. We prove that $\mathfrak S_w(c)$ is homogeneous under diagonal conjugation if and only if it is the corresponding canonical element, and that homogeneity of $\mathfrak S_w(c)$ implies $\Lambda_Q$-rigidity of $Z_{\sf g_w}$. We also classify simultaneously the unit columns of the geometric-to-Schubert transitions, determine support components of the PBW-to-geometric and code-to-Schubert transitions, and exhibit a permutation $w\in S_{10}$ for which the three geometric basis elements are distinct.
