On the generalized geometry of almost abelian solvmanifolds
Mauro de Andrade Pinto, Letícia Camponês do Brasil Maia, Leonardo F. Cavenaghi et al. (+1 more)
We study left-invariant generalized complex structures on almost abelian Lie groups $G_A$ with Lie
algebra $\mathfrak{g}_A=\mathbb{R} e_0\ltimes_A\mathfrak{h}$, where $\mathfrak{h}$ is an abelian ideal of codimension one, and on their compact quotients. First, when $A$ is diagonalizable over $\mathbb{R}$, we characterize all admissible types by pairings of its
eigenvalues and characterize the structures admitting a closed invariant pure-spinor generator. For general $A$, we obtain Jordan-theoretic type bounds and a construction using a complex quotient and a symplectic ideal. Finally, in dimension six, we establish nonexistence results and give explicit intermediate-type constructions.

Rectifiability of the Singular Strata for Harmonic Maps to DM-Complexes
Ivy Stoner and Yitong Sun
We prove a rectifiability
theorem for harmonic maps into DM-complexes. More specifically, if $u$ is a harmonic map from a $n$-dimensional Riemannian domain to an $N$-dimensional NPC DM-complex $Y$, the $k$-th singular stratum of the singular set is countably $k$-rectifiable for all $k \in \{0,...,n-2\}.$ Our proof follows the framework in \cite{dm}. This extends the rectifiability result for the singular set of harmonic maps into a $F$-connected complex in \cite{dees} and generalizes the rectifiability
theorem with respect the singular strata of harmonic maps into a $F$-connected complex in \cite{bd}.

The anisotropic Michael-Simon inequality
Benjy Firester and Raphael Tsiamis
We prove a Michael-Simon inequality for varifolds of every dimension and codimension with respect to anisotropic energies. In particular, this resolves the problem for every convex even hypersurface anisotropy and, using work of Allard, yields the regularity of hypersurfaces with bounded anisotropic mean
curvature in every dimension. By the results of De Philippis and Pigati, it also implies density bounds and compactness properties for rectifiable varifolds with uniformly bounded anisotropic first variation. The proof relies on a projection method for anisotropic stress measures as well as the recent resolution of the vanishing mass
conjecture by Gennaioli and Rindler.

Gauge-compatible tensors on statistical manifolds: splitting and submanifold geometry
Mirjana Milijevic and Luis P. Yapu
We study statistical
manifolds $(M,g,\nabla,\nabla^{*})$ endowed with a nonzero $(1,1)$-tensor field $\Theta$ satisfying the gauge equation \[ \nabla_X(\Theta Y)=\Theta(\nabla_X^{*}Y). \] We first characterize this condition in terms of the statistical difference tensor \[ K=\nabla-\nabla^{g}. \] When $\Theta$ is parallel with respect to the Levi-Civita connection, the gauge equation is equivalent to \[ K_X\Theta=-\Theta K_X. \] We further show that $\Theta$ intertwines the parallel transports of the dual connections. Consequently, its rank is constant on every connected component, and $\ker\Theta$ and $\operatorname{Im}\Theta$ determine smooth integrable distributions. If, in addition, \[ TM=\ker\Theta\overset{\perp}{\oplus}\operatorname{Im}\Theta, \] we establish a local product decomposition of the statistical structure. We then study submanifolds carrying $\Theta$-invariant and $\Theta$-anti-invariant distributions and derive the tangential and normal components of the ambient gauge equation in terms of the second fundamental forms and shape operators of the dual statistical connections. We also obtain
curvature-intertwining consequences and present a non-totally-geodesic example illustrating the submanifold identities.

Finiteness and rigidity of optimal destabilizing subvarieties for the J-equation
P. Sivaram and Zakarias Sjöström Dyrefelt
We prove that when the J-equation does not admit a smooth solution, there is always only a finite number of obstructing optimally destabilizing curves and divisors on compact Kähler
manifolds of any dimension. For threefolds, this establishes the unconditional finiteness of all optimally destabilizing subvarieties. We moreover characterize the union of these optimal subvarieties, proving that they are contained in the locus where a natural continuity path loses local smooth compactness. Finally, to address subvarieties that are neither curves nor divisors, we prove a rigidity criterion which prevents optimal cycles from moving in compact one-parameter families, with further consequences for their deformation and
symmetry properties.

Sub-Laplacians on Compact Lie Groups: Heat Kernels, Distance, and Zeta Determinants
Wolfram Bauer, Zhicheng Han and Zhipeng Yang
We study heat kernels, sub-Riemannian distances, and spectral zeta functions of sub-
Laplacians determined by closed connected subgroups of compact Lie groups. Combining Hall's inversion formula with the affine
lattice expansion of the compact group heat kernel, we derive a Cartan integral representation involving the group's exponential
lattice. For two-step compact Lie pairs, the full algebraic small-time heat trace expansion is determined, up to an exponentially small remainder, by two explicit constants $C_{G,L}$ and $\beta_{G,L}$. This expansion determines all heat coefficients, the poles and residues of the reduced spectral zeta function, and its values at nonpositive integers. For the transvective symmetric subclass, we prove uniform vertical asymptotics for the Carnot-Carathéodory distance; the leading coefficient $\mathfrak F_{G,K}(Z)$ is the attained minimum of a finite-dimensional singular value problem. For simply connected two-step pairs, we obtain an exact decomposition of the zeta-regularized determinant into local,
lattice, and spectral terms, with exponential truncation estimates. We specialize these results to block subgroups of $\mathrm{SU}(N)$, recovering the classical $\mathrm{SU}(2)$ and CR sphere spectra.

Stability of gravitational instantons with a bounded Killing vector field
Tristan Ozuch
We prove that a complete ALF Ricci-flat 4-
manifold carrying a bounded Killing vector field is linearly stable if and only if it is locally hyperkähler. This applies uniformly to all known examples and in particular proves the instability of all of the metrics recently found by Li-Sun. The argument is based on infinitesimal Einstein-Maxwell deformations of the Ricci-flat metric associated with the Killing field. A separate simpler identity proves the instability of nonflat static Ricci-flat 4-metrics which include the static axisymmetric smooth Riemannian Myers/Korotkin-Nicolai metrics. To our knowledge, this proves the equivalence between linear stability and special holonomy and (anti-)selfduality for all known families of Ricci-flat 4-
manifolds. In higher dimensions, for generalizations of AF
manifolds, we show that stability forces the universal cover to split a line. This gives explicit destabilizing tensors on the Riemannian Myers-Perry instantons and the Riemannian Schwarzschild-Tangherlini metrics in all dimensions.

manifolds with a uniform lower Ricci
curvature bound, and $G_i \leq \operatorname{Iso} (X_i)$ a sequence of closed groups of isometries. We show that if the triples $(X_i, G_i, p_i)$ converge in the equivariant Gromov–Hausdorff sense to a triple $(X,G,p)$, then $\mathfrak{g}$, the Lie

Entire monotone solutions of the anisotropic Allen-Cahn equation in dimension 5
Haowen Lu, Song Wang, Juncheng Wei et al. (+1 more)
In this paper, we consider the anisotropic Allen-Cahn equation $-\operatorname{div} a(Du)+W'(u)=0$ in $\mathbb{R}^N$, where $a(p):=DH(p)$ with $H(p)=\frac{1}{2}F(p)^2$ and $F$ a uniformly elliptic integrand, and $W(u)=\frac{1}{4}(1-u^2)^2$. Based on the Mooney-Yang anisotropic minimal graph, we prove that the anisotropic Allen-Cahn equation admits a stable solution for $N\geq4$ in the weak sense, whose level sets are not hyperplanes. As a byproduct, we also construct a smooth solution of the above anisotropic Allen-Cahn equation for $N\geq5$ that is monotone in one direction but is not one-dimensional.

Isodiametric-type upper bounds for Steklov eigenvalues
Pingxin Gu
In this paper, we establish isodiametric-type upper bounds for Steklov
eigenvalues of bounded Lipschitz domains $\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^n$, $n\geq 2$, valid for every $k\in \mathbb{N}$: \[ D(\Omega)\sigma_k(\Omega)\leq C(n)k, \] \[ D(\Omega)\sigma_k(\Omega)\leq C(n)k^2\left(\frac{|\Omega|^{\frac{1}{n}}}{D(\Omega)}\right)^{\frac{n}{n-1}}, \] where $C(n)>0$ depends only on $n$. The first estimate is sharp in its linear dependence on $k$, while the second is sharp both in the exponent of the volume-diameter ratio and, once that exponent is fixed, in its quadratic dependence on $k$. In particular, the second estimate gives an affirmative answer to Open Question 4.37 in [5].

Ancient cylindrical flows with fast or slow convergence
Kyeongsu Choi and Robert Haslhofer
In a recent breakthrough, Bamler-Lai proved the mean-convex neighborhood
conjecture in all dimensions by showing that any nontrivial ancient asymptotically cylindrical mean
curvature flow is – up to splitting Euclidean factors – either a translating bowl, or an ancient oval, or a translating oval-bowl. In this paper, we provide a short alternative argument for two of the three scenarios. Specifically, using more elementary/traditional methods, we show that if the convergence to the round cylinder is fast then the solution is a bowl times a Euclidean factor, and if the convergence is slow then the solution is an ancient oval. Moreover, the present paper also yields a new proof of the mean-convex neighborhood
conjecture for neck-singularities that substantially simplifies and streamlines the approach from our prior work joint with Hershkovits (Acta '22) and Hershkovits-White (Inventiones '22).

Quasi-convexity of energy functions along Teichmüller geodesics
Inkang Kim, Xueyuan Wan and Genkai Zhang
Hyperbolic length functions are among the most fundamental ones on Teichmüller space, and they are quasi-convex along Teichmüller geodesics. In this paper, we investigate the same question for energy functions of harmonic maps in two natural settings, which may be viewed as nonlinear and higher-dimensional analogs of the length functions. For a fixed domain and a varying
hyperbolic target, we prove the energy is quasi-convex along Teichmüller geodesics under a filling hypothesis. Furthermore, we generalize Masur's result on asymptotic growth of the length function along the Teichmüller geodesic determined by a Jenkins-Strebel differential to the energy functions. We also prove the quasi-convexity for covering maps between closed
hyperbolic surfaces with fixed target and varying domains. We derive first and second variation formulas of energy functions along Teichmüller geodesics and explain why the natural global statement is quasi-convexity rather than genuine convexity.

Perspectives on the Bott spectral sequence for Lie groupoids
Annika Kraasch-Tarnowsky
The cohomology of a differentiable stack can be modelled by the Bott-Shulman-Stasheff bicomplex. However, computing its cohomology is still difficult in many examples. Improving on this requires additional methods such as using spectral sequences and finding models for the cohomology of each column of the bicomplex. This paper provides a first attempt of relating and unifying two approaches of this form. Firstly, Arias Abad has generalised the Bott spectral sequence to Lie groupoids by introducing representations up to homotopy. The second approach is the recent work on a model for the cohomology of differentiable stacks associated to proper and regular Lie groupoids by this author.

Convex hulls and area minimizing currents in asymptotically locally hyperbolic manifolds
Aidan F. Wood
We solve the oriented asymptotic Plateau problem for integral currents of arbitrary codimension in conformally compact asymptotically locally
hyperbolic manifolds without global
curvature assumptions. This extends Anderson's
theorem in
hyperbolic space. A new ingredient is the construction of a barrier hull near conformal infinity, which serves as a barrier for area minimizing currents and stationary varifolds. In the conformally compact setting, the associated convex hull identity extends Anderson's result beyond globally pinched negative
curvature.

Improvement of the dimension bound for unweighted RCD spaces

In other words, unweighted finite-dimensional $RCD$ spaces enjoy an automatic improvement of the dimension bound to the Hausdorff dimension of the space. More generally, we prove that this holds also when $N=\infty$, provided that we assume in addition the $n$-rectifiability of the space.

Revisiting Fazly-Wei-Xu pointwise estimates for the fourth-order Hénon equation via Bernstein's technique
Quôc Anh Ngô and Trung Nguyen
In a remarkable work published in Analysis and PDE 8 (2015) 1541-1563, M. Fazly, J. Wei, and X. Xu establish the following pointwise estimate \[-\Delta u \geq \frac 2{n-4} \frac{|\nabla u|^2}u + \sqrt{\frac 2{p+1- \frac 8{n(n-4)}}} |x|^{\frac \sigma 2} u^\frac{p+1}2 \quad \text{in } \mathbf R^n\] for any bounded, positive, $C^4$-solution $u$ to the the fourth-order Hénon equation \[\Delta^2 u = |x|^\sigma u^p \quad \text{in } \mathbf R^n\] with $n \geq 5$, $\sigma \geq 0 $ but implicitly near $0$, and $p>(n+4+2\sigma)/(n-4)$. Their argument relies on a sophisticated iteration argument in the fashion of the standard Moser proof. In this paper, we provide an alternative approach which relies on the Bernstein technique via the maximum principle. The heart of our argument is a suitable choice of an auxiliary function allowing us not only achieving the same pointwise estimate, which still holds even for $p = (n+4+2\sigma)/(n-4)$, but also relaxing the boundedness of solutions. In addition, the pointwise inequality actually holds for any $\sigma \geq 0$. This estimate leads to an interesting consequence of the existence of conformal metric of $\mathbf R^n$ having positive scalar and $Q$
curvatures. We also show that the coefficient $2/(n-4)$ is sharp, hence providing the first answer to the question in the op. cit. paper. Our proof appears to be simpler and constructive.

We develop a purely algebraic framework for index-type
theorems based on the Rees construction for filtered differential graded
algebras (FDGAs). Alongside the classical Rees module we introduce a smooth variant $C^\omega_{\mathcal{R}}A$, adapted to analytic arguments, and we study traces and their pointwise and coefficient-wise extensions to Rees
algebras. The main result (Corollary 3.11) is an abstract index
theorem: given a compatible datum of filtered differential graded associative
algebras with traces $A$, $B$, $G$ with a morphism $\phi\colon A\to B$, an action $\rho\colon G\otimes A\to A$ and a morphism $i\colon G\to B$, together with a graded-central element, one has $\mathrm{tr}_B(e^{f_0+f_1}) = \mathrm{tr}_{\widehat{\mathrm{gr}}A}(e^{\gamma}h)$, where the left-hand side is the trace in $B$ and the right-hand side the trace in the Laurent series associated graded $\widehat{\mathrm{gr}}A$ of $A$. Here $f_0+f_1$ is a
curvature-type element, i.e., an element of the form $d_B\beta+\beta^2$ for some odd-degree element $\beta$, while $\gamma$ and $h$ are certain elements in $\widehat{\mathrm{gr}}A$. The formalism is modelled on the Getzler rescaling technique and on the derivation of the localization formula for the loop space Chern character by Ludewig and Yi.

Structure of the Riemann tensor in higher-dimensional Kerr-NUT-(A)dS spaces
Igor Khavkine and David Matejov
We study the algebraic and differential structure of the Riemann
curvature tensor of the higher-dimensional Kerr-NUT-(A)dS spaces, motivated by the eventual goal of finding an IDEAL (Intrinsic, Deductive, Explicit and ALgorithmic) characterization of this family of metrics. The special geometry of these spaces is governed by the principal tensor $h_{ab}$, a non-degenerate closed conformal Killing-Yano $2$-form, whose existence singles out the Kerr-NUT-(A)dS family; we therefore focus on the algebraic relationship between the Riemann
curvature $R_{abcd}$ and $h_{ab}$. In our investigations we encountered an obstruction, which results in a no-go
theorem: no non-trivial $2$-form, including $h_{ab}$ itself, can be constructed covariantly from the undifferentiated Riemann tensor alone. Despite that, we do characterize the family of Riemann-symmetric tensors that could be the
curvature of a Kerr-NUT-(A)dS metric by an algebraic and a differential condition, stemming from the integrability of the defining equation of $h_{ab}$ and the second Bianchi identity. Our calculations apply in all higher dimensions, which becomes feasible by a judicious application of representation theoretic techniques related to a semi-direct product group $U(1)^n\rtimes S_n$ that stabilizes $h_{ab}$.

Gradient estimates and volume doubling for locally finite weighted graphs with $CD\psi(n,-K)$ condition
Qianwei Zhang
We study gradient estimates and volume growth on locally finite weighted graphs satisfying the $CD\psi(n,-K)$ condition with $K\geq0$. We establish a variational inequality for the heat semigroup and derive from it a family of Li-Yau type gradient estimates. Furthermore, under suitable assumptions on $\psi$, we establish a
curvature dependent heat retention estimate for metric balls. Combined with a heat kernel Harnack inequality obtained from the established gradient estimate, this yields a
curvature dependent exponential volume doubling estimate \begin{equation*} V(x,2r)\leq C e^{c\sqrt{K}r}V(x,r). \end{equation*} When $K=0$, the result reduces to a uniform volume doubling and further implies that the bottom of the spectrum of $-\Delta$ vanishes on infinite graphs.

Failure of the Proposed Local Decay Formula for Local Arnold Multiplicities under Twisted Kähler–Ricci Flow
Xiangsen Qin
Let $\lambda(u,x)$ be the local Arnold multiplicity of a quasi-plurisubharmonic function $u$. Di Nezza–Guedj–Lu asked whether every maximal weak solution $\varphi_t$ of the twisted Kähler–Ricci flow satisfies $\lambda(\varphi_t,x)=\max\{\lambda(\varphi_0,x)-t,0\}$. We give counterexamples on the Hirzebruch surface $\mathbb F_e=\mathbb P_{\mathbb P^1} (\mathcal O_{\mathbb P^1}\oplus\mathcal O_{\mathbb P^1}(-e))$, $e\ge2$. Let $S$ be its negative section and $F_1,\ldots,F_k$ be distinct fibres. If $a,b_i>0$, $\sum_i b_i>ea$, and the initial current is $a[S]+\sum_i b_i[F_i]$, then $\lambda(\varphi_t,x)=a-\min\{k/e,1\}t$ for $x\in S\setminus\bigcup_iF_i$ and $0<t<\min\{a,b_1,\ldots,b_k\}$. Thus the formula fails for $k<e$; the slower decay is forced by the Zariski negative part of the residual class. Under explicit SNC and positivity hypotheses, we also prove an exact surface formula for pure divisorial data. Consequences include nonlocality with fixed background data and explicit multiplier ideals. Products with smooth factors give counterexamples in every complex dimension $n\ge2$.

The Grassmannian of indefinite subspaces
Rongbiao Thomas Wang, Hongquan Yang and Lek-Heng Lim
The homogeneous space $\operatorname{O}_{m,n}(\mathbb{R})/(\operatorname{O}_{p,q}(\mathbb{R}) \times \operatorname{O}_{m-p,n-q}(\mathbb{R}))$ is an object that has received scant
attention, with just two brief mentions in existing literature, and christened the indefinite Grassmannian in one of them. In this article, we develop some of its basic properties, building it from ground up. We will see that, aside from its homogeneous space description, the indefinite Grassmannian may be characterized in several other ways: set-theoretically, it is the
manifold of indefinite $(p+q)$-dimensional subspaces in $(m +n)$-dimensional space; it is an adjoint orbit of a Lie group; a semialgebraic smooth
manifold of
matrices; a base space of a principal bundle whose total space is the indefinite Stiefel
manifold, a natural corresponding notion. It may also be naturally equipped with various structures, turning the indefinite Grassmannian into a pseudo-Riemannian
manifold; a Einstein
manifold; a symplectic
manifold; and a pseudo-Kähler
manifold (last two only over $\mathbb{C}$). As a centerpiece of this article, we establish two attributes of the indefinite Grassmannian in relation to the standard Grassmannian: (i) any Grassmannian has a Whitney stratification whose highest dimensional strata are indefinite Grassmannians; (ii) the indefinite Grassmannian is a strong deformation retract of a product of two Grassmannians, thereby allowing us to completely ascertain the
topology of the former. We will also determine some of the indefinite Grassmannian's features that are within reach — both
geometric (Riemann, Ricci, sectional, and scalar
curvatures; second fundamental form) and topological (cohomology ring, homotopy groups, characteristic classes).

Exact counting of spherical metrics with one conical singularity on rectangular tori
Zhijie Chen and Shihong Zhang
We prove that for every integer $n\geq 2$ and $8\pi(n-1)<\rho<8\pi n$, the singular Liouville equation $\Delta u+\e^u=\rho\delta_0$ on a rectangular
torus $E_{\mathrm{i}b}=\mathbb{C}/(\mathbb Z+\mathrm{i} b\mathbb Z)$ has exactly $n$ solutions, which are all axisymmetric. Together with previous results by Chen-Lin and Lin-Wang, this yields that \begin{itemize} \item $E_{\mathrm{i} b}$ admits no spherical metrics with a conical singularity of angle $2\pi\vartheta$ as long as $\vartheta$ is a positive odd integer. \item For every integer $n\geq 1$, $E_{\mathrm{i} b}$ admits exactly $n$ spherical metrics with a conical singularity of angle $2\pi\vartheta$ for each $\vartheta\in (2n-1, 2n+1)$. \end{itemize} The basic idea is to prove that the linearized equation has only trivial solutions in the space of axisymmetric functions. The previous method of analysing nodal domains via Bol's isoperimetric inequality only works for $\rho\leq 8\pi$. We develop a unified approach for all $\rho\in (0,+\infty)\setminus 8\pi\mathbb{N}_{\geq 1}$ by exploring the deep connection with the monodromy of the classical Lamé equation.
