The two-phase Alt-Phillips problem for quasilinear operators
Yousef Alamri and José Miguel Urbano
We establish interior regularity and growth estimates for the sign-changing minimizers of the $p-$singular or $p-$degenerate quasilinear Alt–Phillips functional throughout the full range of $1<p<\infty$ and of the nonlinearity power $0<\gamma<p$. As a consequence, we show that the nonbranching hypersurface is locally $C^{1,\alpha}$ rectifiable. In addition, we obtain local density estimates, from which we deduce the local finiteness of the $\big(N-1+\gamma(p-1)/(p-\gamma)\big)-$dimensional Hausdorff measure of the remaining free boundaries for a restricted range of $\gamma$.

The blow-up rate for a log non-scaling invariant semilinear wave equation in the conformal regime
Mohamed Ali Hamza
We consider the blow-up behavior of solutions to the semilinear wave equation $$ \partial_t^2 u - \Delta u = |u|^{p-1}u \ln^a(u^2+2), \ (x,t)\in \mathbb{R}^n \times [0,T),$$ in the conformal case $ p = p_c = 1 + \frac{4}{n-1}$. Previous results in \cite{HZjmaa2020, HZ2022} show that for $ a \in \mathbb{R} $, solutions in the subconformal regime $ p < p_c $ blow up with a Type~I rate at any non-characteristic point. The objective of this work is to extend this blow-up rate to the conformal regime under the assumption $a<0$. We establish an a priori upper bound for any blow-up solution and construct a Lyapunov functional in similarity variables. The resulting functional exhibits only weak dissipation, which necessitates delicate energy arguments to obtain the sharp blow-up rate in the conformal case. To the best of our knowledge, this provides the first result for the blow-up rate in a critical framework for an
evolution problem where the scaling
symmetry is broken.

The best constant in the G-N inequality for the mixed local and Nonlocal Laplacian
Hichem Hajaiej and Yu Su
In this paper, we establish the best constant in the G-N inequality for the mixed local and nonlocal
Laplacian. In our problem, classical methods cannot apply directly since regularity results for the operator under study seem to be highly challenging. We build an innovative method that not only enabled us to prove that the optimizer of the best constant is the ground state solution of the equation, but also to establish the best constant.

Blow-up rates and sets for a quasilinear diffusion equation with weighted source
Raúl Ferreira, Razvan Gabriel Iagar and Ariel Sánchez
Blow-up rates are established for general solutions to the quasilinear
diffusion equation $$ \partial_tu=\Delta u^m+|x|^{\sigma}u^p, \quad (x,t)\in\mathbb{R}^N\times(0,T), $$ in the range of exponents $1<p<m$, $\sigma>0$. More precisely, if we consider a compactly supported solution $u(x,t)$ with blow-up time $T=T(u)\in(0,\infty)$, we derive the blow-up rate $$ C_1(T-t)^{-\alpha}\leq \|u(x,t)\|_{\infty}\leq C_2(T-t)^{-\alpha}, \quad t\in(0,T), $$ for some positive constants $C_1$, $C_2$, and the upper rate of expansion of the support $$ \sup\{|x|:u(x,t)>0\}\leq C_0(T-t)^{-\beta}, \quad t\in(0,T), $$ for some constant $C_0>0$, where $$ \alpha=\frac{\sigma+2}{L}, \quad \beta=\frac{m-p}{L}, \quad L=\sigma(m-1)+2(p-1). $$ We also analyze the blow-up sets of solutions $u$, showing, under a suitable condition, that either $B(u)=\mathbb{R}^N$ or blow-up takes place only as $|x|\to\infty$.

We develop a
quantum algorithm to solve a type of linear reaction-

nuclear criticality. The
algorithm handles an equation with piecewise constant coefficients, describing a problem in a heterogeneous medium. We apply uniform finite elements and show that the
quantum algorithm provides significant
polynomial end-to-end speedup over classical uniform finite element methods in the cases tested, although nonuniform classical methods can perform much better than uniform ones. Our work leverages recent advances in
quantum linear systems–fast inversion and
quantum preconditioning–and uses
Hamiltonian simulation as a subroutine. Our results suggest that
quantum algorithms may provide speedups for heterogeneous PDEs, though the extent of this advantage over the fastest classical
algorithm depends on the effectiveness of other classical approaches such as nonuniform or adaptive meshing for a given problem instance.

Global boundary stabilization of 1d systems of scalar conservation laws
Georges Bastin, Jean-Michel Coron and Amaury Hayat
We study a system of several one-dimensional scalar conservation laws coupled through boundary feedback conditions that combine physical boundary constraints with static feedback control laws. Our first contribution establishes the well-posedness of the system in the space of $L^{\infty}$
entropy solutions. Our second contribution provides a set of sufficient dissipative conditions on the boundary coupling that ensure global exponential stability in $L^1$ and $L^\infty$ norms.

Topology of minimal surfaces in the sphere from capillarity
Benjy Firester and Raphael Tsiamis
We present a general construction of embedded minimal and constant mean
curvature surfaces in $\mathbb{S}^n$ and one-phase free boundaries joined by a smooth interpolation by capillary hypersurfaces. This framework recovers all known families and produces new minimal surfaces in the sphere with rich topological structures as sphere bundles over base spaces which include space-form products, projective planes over division
algebras, Stiefel
manifolds, complex quadrics, and twisted products and quotients of Lie subgroups of $SO(n)$. We show these bundles are non-trivial and study their homotopy types using topological obstructions, including characteristic classes and tools from $K$-theory and stable homotopy theory. Finally, we prove uniqueness results for the rotationally invariant capillary CMC problem.

The formation of a weak null singularity in the interior of generic rotating black holes
Jonathan Luk and Jan Sbierski
Given a characteristic initial value problem with smooth data representing a dynamical event horizon settling down to that of Kerr in the subextremal, strictly rotating range with suitable upper and lower bounds, we prove that a weak null singularity forms, across which the spacetime metric is continuously extendible but not Lipschitz extendible. The bulk of the proof is a stability argument showing that a dynamical Teukolsky field can be approximated by a linear Teukolsky field, whose linear instability was proved in previous works.

The entropy production is not always monotone in the space-homogeneous Boltzmann equation
Luis Silvestre
We show an example of a function and a collision kernel for which the
entropy production increases in time when we flow it by the space-homogeneous Boltzmann equation. The collision kernel is not any of the physically motivated kernels that are commonly used in the literature. In this particular setting, our result disproves a
conjecture of McKean from 1966.

parabolic equations in
parabolic $C^1$ domains, providing explicit
moduli of continuity. Our results extend the classical
Hopf-Oleinik lemma and boundary Lipschitz regularity for domains with $C^{1,\mathrm{Dini}}$ boundaries, while also recovering the known $C^{1-\varepsilon}$ regularity for
parabolic Lipschitz domains, unifying both regimes with a single proof.

Optimal $C^{1,\alpha}$ regularity up to the boundary for fully nonlinear elliptic equations with double phase degeneracy
Junior da Silva Bessa and Jehan Oh
In this paper we establish optimal $C^{1,\alpha}$ regularity up to the boundary for viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear
elliptic equations with double phase degeneracy law and oblique boundary conditions. The approach developed here relies on first deriving uniform boundary Hölder estimates for perturbed models with oblique boundary data in “almost $C^{1}$-flat” domains. Building upon these estimates, the desired regularity is obtained through a compactness and stability framework for viscosity solutions. As a byproduct of our analysis, we determine the optimal Hölder exponent for solutions when the governing operator is quasiconvex or quasiconcave. In addition, we establish an improved regularity result along vanishing points of the source term.

Gromov-Hausdorff limits of the Chern-Ricci flow on smooth Hermitian minimal models of general type
Haoyuan Sun
We establish uniform diameter estimates and volume non-collapsing estimates for the Chern-
Ricci flow on smooth Hermitian minimal models of general type, assuming the initial metric is Kähler in a neighborhood of the null locus of the canonical bundle. This yields subsequential Gromov-Hausdorff convergence, partially resolving a
conjecture of Tosatti and Weinkove. When the underlying
manifold is Kähler, we further prove the uniqueness of the limit space. Analytically, we overcome the difficulties posed by non-Kähler torsion in the Green's formula by exploiting our local Kähler assumption, successfully adapting recent estimates of Kähler Green's function to the Hermitian setting. To prove the uniqueness of the limit, we introduce Perelman's reduced length to the Chern-
Ricci flow. By establishing a uniform Chern scalar
curvature bound and an almost monotonicity formula for the reduced volume, we deduce an almost-avoidance principle for the singular set, allowing us to effectively compare the flow distance with the canonical limit distance.

Our results provide a refinement of those in (Calc. Var. 52 (2015), 125-163) in the setting of fractional-dimensional spaces, as well as of those in (Ann. Global Anal. Dividend ratcheting and capital injection under the Cramér-Lundberg model: Strong solution and optimal strategy
Chonghu Guan and Zuo Quan Xu
We consider an optimal dividend payout problem for an insurance company whose surplus follows the classical Cramér-Lundberg model. The dividend rate is subject to a ratcheting constraint (i.e., it must be nondecreasing over time), and the company may inject capital at a proportional cost to avoid ruin. This problem gives rise to a
stochastic control problem with a self-path-dependent control constraint, costly capital injections, and jump-
diffusion dynamics. The associated Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equation is a partial integro-differential variational inequality featuring both a nonlocal integral term and a gradient constraint. We develop a systematic probabilistic and PDE-based approach to solve this HJB equation. By discretizing the space of admissible dividend rates, we construct a sequence of approximating regime-switching systems of ordinary integro-differential equations. Through careful a priori estimates and a limiting argument, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a strong solution in a suitable space. This regularity result is fundamental: it allows us to characterize the optimal dividend policy via a switching free boundary and to construct an explicit optimal feedback control strategy. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first complete solution – comprising both the value function and an implementable optimal strategy – for a dividend ratcheting problem with capital injection under the Cramér-Lundberg model. Our work advances the mathematical theory of optimal
stochastic control beyond the standard viscosity solution framework, providing a rigorous foundation for dividend policy design in economics.

A seminorm-only characterization of analytic Besov spaces on the disc
Maher Boudabra
We introduce the space $\mathcal{W}^{s,p}(\mathbb{D})$ of analytic functions $u$ on the unit disc such that the radial restrictions $u_{r}(\xi):=u(r\xi)$ satisfy the Gagliardo seminorm-only bound \[ \sup_{0<r<1}[u_{r}]_{W^{s,p}(\mathbb{S}^{1})}<\infty, \] with no $\emph{a priori}$ control of $\sup_{r}\|u_{r}\|_{L^{p}(\mathbb{S}^{1})}$. Our main result shows that this assumption already forces $u\in H^{p}(\mathbb{D})$ and that the radial boundary trace $u^{*}$ belongs to $W^{s,p}(\mathbb{S}^{1})$, with $u_{r}\to u^{*}$ in $W^{s,p}(\mathbb{S}^{1})$ as $r\to1^{-}$. The key mechanism combines the mean-value property (which pins the constant mode at $u(0)$) with a fractional Poincar$\'e$ inequality on $\mathbb{S}^{1}$, recovering $L^{p}$ control from oscillation alone. As a consequence, the trace map $u\mapsto u^{*}$ is a surjective isomorphism $\mathcal{W}^{s,p}(\mathbb{D})\xrightarrow{\sim}B^{s}_{p,p,+}(\mathbb{S}^{1})$ with explicit norm equivalence.

Nonlinear Schrödinger equations with critical Hardy potential and Choquard nonlinearity
Phuoc-Tai Nguyen and Tuan Dat Tran
We study the Cauchy problem for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation characterized by contrasting effects between the concentration at the origin of a critical Hardy potential and the intrinsic nonlocality of a Choquard nonlinearity. We prove the existence of a ground state solution through optimizers of an interpolation Hardy-Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequality and derive a non-existence result via Poho\v zaev identities. Using these results, we provide various criteria for the global existence and finite-time blow-up for the problem in the energy-subcritical regime. Finally, we establish a key compactness result, which enables us to obtain a characterization of finite-time blow-up solutions with minimal mass.

Low-regularity global well-posedness for the Boltzmann equation near vacuum

We study the Boltzmann equation near
vacuum in anisotropic low-regularity Besov spaces. We establish the global existence and uniqueness of strong solutions with the critical regularity index $2/p$ for $p\in[1,\infty)$ in $\mathbb{R}^3$. The proof relies on a new bilinear estimate for the nonlinear collision operator. Combined with a div-curl type lemma we develop, this allows us to close the a priori estimates and thereby obtain global well-posedness.

Weighted $L^2$ theory for the Euclidean Dirac operator in higher dimensions
Guangbin Ren and Yuchen Zhang
We study weighted $L^{2}$ solvability for the Euclidean Dirac operator in dimensions $n\ge 3$. We prove that, on the exterior domain $\mathbb{R}^{n}\setminus\overline{B(0,1)}$ with logarithmic weight $\varphi=n\log|x|$, no higher-dimensional analogue of the two-dimensional Hörmander estimate can be controlled solely by $\Delta\varphi$; we then establish weighted solvability for the weights $|x|^{m}$ with $m\neq 0$, for the quadratic weight $x_{1}^{2}$, and for sufficiently small anisotropic perturbations of the Gaussian weight, with sharp constant $1/4$ in the Gaussian case. The obstruction arises because, in dimensions $n\ge 3$, the classical weighted identity is coercive only under a structural relation between $\Delta\varphi$ and $|\nabla\varphi|^{2}$, a condition that excludes the Gaussian weight and many
polynomial weights. The method is based on a weighted identity for the conjugated unknown $U:=ue^{-\varphi/2}$, together with suitable scalar and Clifford-valued multipliers; this identity yields the required coercive estimates and also gives weighted $L^{2}$ solvability for the Poisson equation through the factorization $\Delta=-D^{2}$.

Rigidity for a semilinear Neumann problem with exponential nonlinearity in the large diffusion limit

We consider a semilinear Neumann problem with exponential nonlinearity in a smooth bounded domain $\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^2$. We prove that there exists a threshold $\bar{\varepsilon}>0$ such that for all $\varepsilon>\bar{\varepsilon}$, any classical solution must be constant. This result provides a positive answer to a
conjecture recently posed by Calanchi, Ciraolo, and Messina (2026). Our proof relies on a combination of $L^1$-estimates, a Jensen-type argument via the Neumann Green's function to obtain uniform exponential integrability, and
elliptic regularity.

On the Viscosity Solutions of Parabolic p-Laplacian Equations with Capillary-Type Boundary Conditions
Zhenghuan Gao, Jin Yan and Yang Zhou
In this paper, we establish the well-posedness and large-time asymptotic behavior of viscosity solutions to singular/degenerate
parabolic $p$-
Laplacian equations with general capillary-type boundary conditions, including Neumann and prescribed contact angle cases, on strictly convex domains. By establishing a gradient estimate independent of the $C^0$ norm of the solution via the maximum principle, and by analyzing the problem through an approximation procedure together with associated
elliptic eigenvalue problems, we prove the existence, uniqueness, and asymptotic behavior of solutions. For the
elliptic problem with Neumann boundary conditions, we first focus on flat domains with the zero Neumann condition. By reflecting $u$ across the flat boundary $T_1$ and then using inf- and sup-convolution arguments in the reflected domain, we obtain the $C^{1,\alpha}$ result. For the general
elliptic case, we obtain sharp global $C^{1,\alpha}$ regularity by flattening the boundary and employing compactness arguments together with an “improvement of flatness” iteration. With an extra condition in the iteration, we can also deal with the singular case $1<p<2$. In the
parabolic setting, the spatial Hölder regularity of $Du$ follows from
elliptic estimates combined with the Lipschitz continuity of $u$ in time, which in turn yields joint Hölder continuity in $(x,t)$. Extensions to non-convex domains are also discussed by incorporating a suitable forcing term.

Calibrating Forms for Minimal Graphs in Arbitrary Codimension
Chung-Jun Tsai and Mu-Tao Wang
We introduce a new family of closed differential forms naturally associated with minimal graphical submanifolds in Euclidean space, defined in arbitrary codimension. For each minimal graph, we construct an explicit closed form whose restriction coincides with the induced volume form. These forms admit a
geometric interpretation as pullbacks, via the Gauss map, of tautological differential forms on the Grassmannian. In contrast to most known calibrations, they are generally not parallel and do not arise from special holonomy or
symmetry considerations. The calibration problem is thus reduced to estimating the pointwise comass of the constructed forms. We show that the comass bound can be characterized in terms of explicit inequalities involving the singular values of the defining map of the graph, formulated via its two-dilations and we identify precise conditions ensuring that the comass is at most one. As a consequence, any minimal graph satisfying these conditions is calibrated and hence area-minimizing. This yields a broad class of new calibrated minimal graphs, extending the classical codimension-one theory, and provides an effective criterion for determining precisely where a given minimal graph is area-minimizing. As an application of our construction, we confirm a
conjecture of Lawson and Osserman under two-dilation conditions, in arbitrary codimesnion.
